Group Chats
Create a group with your friends and talk together — messages, photos, voice notes and stickers, with read receipts for everyone.
Group Guessing Race
Send a picture with a hidden caption to the whole group. Everyone guesses live — the first exact match wins, and the result opens for the group, with every guess and spectator in Message info.
Round Video Messages
Hold to record an HD round video of up to a minute. Switch between front and back camera mid-recording, zoom, use the flash, pause and scrub before you send. Tap a received one to expand it to full size.
Videos in Chats & Feed
Send video clips up to 15 minutes in any chat, and post videos up to 5 minutes in the feed — they play inline as you scroll.
Places on a Map
Tap the place on any post to explore it on an interactive map without leaving PicTake.
Calls That Recover
Calls reconnect on their own when your network drops or switches, and sound quality climbs back once the line is good again. Uploads show a live percentage, and the country picker at sign-in is searchable in any language.

Private Feed
A feed only your friends can see. Post up to 20 photos or a video up to 5 minutes, add topics and a place, collect likes and comments.
Voice & Video Calls
One-to-one calls with call history and missed calls. Answer from the lock screen, shrink a call to a floating window, or turn the phone sideways for landscape video.
Chat & PicMode
Every thread opens ready to type. Tap the attachment button to switch into PicMode — send a picture with a hidden caption and let your friend guess.
Voice Notes
Hold to record, release to send. Waveform preview and playback right in the thread.
Block Anyone
Block someone from their chat or profile — they can no longer message you, call you or see you online. Unblock any time in Settings.
Calls on Almost No Connection
A voice call starts at full quality and steps itself down as the line gets worse — 64, then 24, then 4.75 kbit/s. That last tier is a few kilobytes a second, so a conversation keeps going on a link that cannot carry a normal call. Nothing to switch on: the call watches its own packet loss.
AI Image Generation
Describe anything and get a picture back in seconds. Preview it, regenerate it, then send it with your caption.
Hot/Cold Guessing Game
Six temperatures, live over the wire. The Guess button changes colour with your last hint.
Colored Checkmarks
Gray sent and delivered, blue read, red caption opened, green guessed — the whole round at a glance.

Encrypted Content
Messages, captions and guesses are stored encrypted with an AES-256-GCM key created for each friendship. Voice notes and round videos leave our server once your friend’s phone has them.
Secure Phone Sign-In
Sign in with your phone number and an SMS code, and add a password if you want one. One active session at a time, with a security alert for every new sign-in.
Guided Walkthrough
The PicTake bot walks you through your first generation, first photo and first guess. Replay it from your profile whenever you like.
Stickers
Ten packs, 160 stickers, built into the app — they send instantly and work without a connection.
Wallpapers & Themes
Give a chat its own wallpaper — 19 colours and 6 patterns, each drawn for light and dark. The app itself follows Light, Dark, or Auto.

Look for any message in a conversation, however far back it sits, and jump straight to it.
Share a Round as a Video
Turn a finished guessing round into a video — the picture, the guesses, the temperatures and the reveal — and share it anywhere. Rendering shows live progress and can be cancelled.
