PicTake — Child Safety Standards
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
1. Zero Tolerance
PicTake has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form. Any content or behavior that sexually abuses, exploits, endangers, or harms a person under 18 is strictly prohibited on our platform. Violations result in immediate content removal, permanent account termination, and reporting to the competent authorities where required by law.
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited in PicTake:
- Creating, generating, uploading, requesting, sharing, forwarding, or storing any content — including AI-generated imagery — that depicts, describes, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors
- Grooming: building an emotional connection with a minor for the purpose of exploitation or abuse
- Sexualization of minors, including sexual comments about or directed at minors
- Soliciting sexual content from a minor, or coercing a minor to produce it (including sextortion)
- Using the app to arrange, facilitate, or promote any sexual contact with a minor, or the trafficking of minors
- Sharing a minor's personal information or content for the purpose of their exploitation
3. How to Report
Users can report violations and child-safety concerns without leaving the app, via Settings → Contact us, and at any time by emailing pictake.app@gmail.com. Any user can also block another user directly from a conversation or profile — a blocked user can no longer reach them. We review every report and act on it without undue delay.
You may also report child sexual exploitation directly to the authorities: in the United States, to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org; in the European Union, to your national INHOPE hotline listed at inhope.org; elsewhere, to your regional law-enforcement authority.
4. Enforcement
When child sexual abuse or exploitation is identified or reported, we act promptly: the content is removed, the responsible account is terminated, and relevant evidence is preserved and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the applicable regional or national authority, as required by law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A in the United States). We cooperate with law-enforcement inquiries concerning child safety.
5. Preventive Measures
- Conversations are friends-only: users can only exchange messages with people they have mutually added, and can block any contact at any time
- Accounts require a verified phone number, and one active session per account reduces credential sharing
- Our Terms of Service prohibit generating or sharing content involving minors in any inappropriate manner, including through the AI image generator
- The app is not directed at children under 13, and accounts found to belong to under-13 users are removed
